Course Description

The Association for Continuing Education (ACE) has selected the next book for their annual Book Discussion Day. This event is one of the highlights of ACE's annual programming. This year's book will be Clear: A Novel by Carys Davies.

Set in 1843, during the time of the great disruption of the Scottish Church and the Highland Clearances, CLEAR pulses like the waves surrounding a remote northern island. The delicate introspection, the conflicts and the evolution of Ivar and John and Mary Ferguson churn like the windswept landscape which envelops them.
