Course Description

This talk introduces the growing field of human-robot interaction (HRI), focusing on how robots can engage us cognitively, emotionally, and physically. We’ll explore how human emotions are modeled and how robots are beginning to interpret and respond to these emotional cues. From haptic feedback to robot hugs, we’ll discuss how machines are learning to understand and express emotion through touch, making interactions more natural and meaningful.
