Course Description

Spinal cord injury has devastating effects, resulting in paralysis and the loss of ability to perform everyday activities. Through the ReHAB project, researchers at CWRU and the VA Medical Center are developing technology that will allow people with the most severe cases of paralysis to regain the ability to perform simple but meaningful activities of daily living. As featured in news outlets including the The New York Times and 60 Minutes, Dr. Ajiboye will describe how the technology works and show the impact it has had on people who have participated in the research program.
