Course Description

This timely course explores the evolving triangle among the United States, Israel, and Iran, with particular attention to the strategic assumptions and policies of the current administration. Examine the ideological foundations and governing structure of the Iranian regime, and trace the shifting history of Israel–Iran relations since the 1979 Islamic Revolution. Through analysis of competing narratives, regional power dynamics, and military escalation scenarios, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the political, economic, and social forces shaping today’s Middle East—and what the aftermath of a major conflict could mean for the region and beyond.
