As a part of the Siegal Science Series, participants will gain a better understanding of the human body through guided dissections and hands-on anatomy activities.
Led by Great Lakes Science Center staff, each session focuses on a different topic, including DNA, hearts, eyes, and body systems. Participants will extract DNA, dissect a pig heart, a cow eye, and a frog along with other interactive activities. Participants will gain a better understanding of our body’s structure and function while also exploring the similarities and differences between the human body and other animals.
